SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thank you Sarah, Max and Daisy Ercoloni for making a donation in the memory of John B. Watt, who loved all dogs. Thank you Pam, for being part of my life. A phone call away and always, always a kind word for me. 2005 has been a busy year. We welcomed Fred, Brooks, Bear, Shadow and Dancer into our program. We lost Spammin', Max, Dolly, Shadow and Abby. Each one of them held a special place in our hearts and will be missed. Life goes on... I lost a couple of old friends this year. Chuck Smothers was like a father to me. He battled his cancer with the same dignity that he battled life. He lost his fight in April. Cyndy Maley, my college roommate and a wonderful friend, passed away on Thanksgiving after a long and brave fight with cancer. I think of them both and smile... 2006 has been another busy year! We welcomed Sierra, Bishop and Simon into our program. We lost Dancer,The Bish and Luke. Still, life goes on... 2007 started off with the loss of Thor. January 25th we lost Chuck and on April 4, 2007 I lost my first Elkhound,Jagr Arnesen Av Norjer, CGC CDX BCGC. One month short of his 15th birthday. The best dog in the whole world...We also found Simon a new furever home. May 28th we lost Smokey. July 8th we lost Juri, my second Elkhound. In July we were blessed with a darling youngster, Lilla. She has found a wonderful home with Tag & Loki and Lucille & Dave. April 19, 2007 and December 1, 2007 my friend, Sherry Peterson, made a donation to JAERR in memory of her mother, Millie Legreid, and their Elkhounds. Thank you, Sherry. January 25, 2008 Bob Wanderer made a donation in memoriam on behalf of Linus (Elkhound Mix) 1975-1989, Navaad (Elkhound) 1985-1999 and JJ (Elkhound) 1987-2001. Thank you, Bob. In 2008 we lost Mattie and Bear. We welcomed Big Buddy, Cherry and Baby Callie. We found Baby Callie a wonderful new home!
